Primary Learning

Primary Learning has been created by me, Alison Begley.

I’ve been writing science educational website content and working in communicating science since 1999.  I have a PhD in astrophysics and have been tutoring maths since 2014, changing to online tutoring in 2020.

Primary Learning

When my children started school I realised that the information I was receiving wasn’t enough to allow me to make sure they were keeping up, and when friends asked how to help their children learn their times tables, what stage should they be at, etc., I realised that parents weren’t being given enough guidance how to support their children with their maths school work.

Primary Learning

Primary Learning aims to address the problems parents face when being asked to support their children with maths.

Not only are the sheets there to provide practice, this material maps out where your child should be in different years and how the maths curriculum fits together, from Year 1 to Year 11.

Follow through the material year by year, or complete an entire topic from zero to GCSE.
